festive decorations

i thought i would end this year with a glance at a few of the decorations that i placed around the house in order to distract the eye from the half finished paintwork etc.....

we plan on obeying the wise sign as we leave this crappy year behind and peek at a brand new shiny one....
and i shall return on the first day of the new year as i start my blog everyday challenge

that is if the snow that is due to arrive stays away!
