day seven - the lessons learnt, too much sun and thank you's

well - day seven and what a week it has been
i started this week in the vain hope that i could add some structure and organisation to my life
i think i may have failed........

to be honest the days are kind of running in to each other at the moment

packing up the house
selling up the shop
pushing the website slightly more
starting a whole new website

it is a a bit of a blur
but a good blur

so i have learnt a few things this week that i shall take with me on the next part of my journey
and one of those things is how much pleasure i get out of sharing my life with all you guys
strangers
but you all feel like friends
this blog world is great but slightly odd

i never thought that i would want to share so much of my future with people i have never met and maybe never will

but i am going to - you will all be dragged along with me through the ups and downs of building a home from the ground up , decorating , caring for new animals, meeting new friends and everything else along the way........

please feel free to turn away at any time - wipe me from your lists if i become too dull - but be warned i will still visit you all daily as i would miss each and every one of you if you were not there

enough i hear you all shouting - what about the pretty skirt and the picnic?????????
well....... no skirt was worn and no picnic was eaten
it was just too damm hot!

i opened the curtains, saw the HUGE amount of traffic heading towards the coast and thought no way am i joining that lot

so we stayed in, read newspapers, books, i sewed and sewed happily and we finally took the dogs out at 4.30pm once most folk were making the journey home.

nothing else to show and tell today

except the girls looking as gorgeous as usual

from the spot on Talullas foot

to the top of her velvet ears

and this is what Bean did today......
one stolen crisp packet = one happy dog

i know they are baddddddd for her, but i had to take a picture before i prised her head out of the bag
Stephen assures me he had eaten every last crisp before Bean stuck her nose inside

next week we will be back to normal (as normal as it gets here)
new projects to share
yet more books to show from Amazon (they keep delivering to my house!)

and i may even post some pictures of our strip of land in all its green glory
you will just have to imagine the STUDIO sitting on it

oh - and the house

see you next week

So many exciting things happening in your life - what fun!
Lovely doggy pics. Yesterday at the fete I attended I met a tiny Jack Russell at the next stall. He was very sleepy and proceeded to spend much of the afternoon asleep on my feet...very cute.

Glad you'll be dragging us along with you! Looking forward to the journey! Your day at home sounds very nice, much better than being stuck in traffic!

Just love that picture of Bean with her head in a bag I'd like to think she was just a little embarassed at having been caught snitching but knowing dogs as well as I do I just know she was making best use of the crumbs.

What a super photo, I think I will take a leaf out of Bean's book and make sure I get every last crumb out of my bags of crisps in future...as long as nobody is around to take my photo!

I think that's why Whippets have such long snouts -perfect for the bottom of crisp packets!
And they were "posh" crisps!
Only the best . . .

i see that i have a clone who is following me around and leaving comments exactly like mine and looks like me too...

now Tracy, do you really think i could have posted the words 'door knobs' in the same sentence as 'poking around', me thinks Joshua would be back along with all his friends!!

Yep, best place to be on fine summer weekends is at home:) Sitting in traffice jams has never been one of my favourite occupations. I'm looking forward to reading all about your adventures in your new life and to seeing more photos of Tallulah and Bean - the one of Bean and the crisp packet is priceless!
