Let me out

The weather here in Kent today is just beautiful. I have walked the girls at our local reservoir which was lovely, 2 hrs of peace and calm and just a few fishermen to say hello to.

The shop is closed today as i have made the decision to reduce opening hours. This hopefully will allow me more time to sew, work on the website and finish the house.

It feels really odd as i would usually at this time of the year be spending as much time in our little garden as possible. But with the house move approaching i find myself looking out the window at our little oasis and feeling no enthusiasm to garden at all. I will make it look tidy for the new owners (sob!) but i really do not have the urge to spend time out there.
I guess it is all part of the pulling away from this home that i am having to work through.

This weekend passed i n a blur as usual - we looked after friends dogs on Sunday so most of the day was spent walking and laughing at 4 mad dogs!!

I have found a little time to go back to making these little cuties for babes.

I also add hearts.
And boats for the boys.
They make a rather boring vest a little more exciting!

I also managed to sort through yet more Vintage items to be uploaded later on to my website.

I love old playing cards and these dog ones are great.

But all i really want to do is be beside the sea, enjoying dog walks and picnics........
this is a photo of my great friend Anne on a rather windy day earlier this year.

The love of the sea is something Stephen and i both share and we cannot wait to see it everyday from our windows in Scotland.
Not long now.............

I am off to enjoy the latest issue of Coast magazine and a large mug of tea.
Then a quick prep for supper, start a new sewing idea that has been niggling in the back of my mind all weekend, and then maybe a little gardening - now the clocks have changed we can all enjoy longer days.

Have fun whatever you choose to do with the rest of your day.

Many thanks

Its been lovely the past two days here in Killin. We took Murray to the park when daddy came cack from work today. I can't wait to go out for long summer evening walks with my boys.

Perhaps you're right about the not wanting to be gardening being part of the "letting go" process. At least you can get out and enjoy the wonderful weather. Dog walking is great. Hope all the packing gets done etc.

It was lovely here today too. And I just got the new issue of Coast - so pleased they're issuing more often!

What cute baby vests! I love them.
You sound as busy as me at the moment, so much to do, so little time. You don't realise how much stuff you really have until you start packing do you?
You must be very excited!
New issue of Coast? you lucky thing, I haven't got mine yet.
