a year ago today....

...... we left Kent to start our long journey North

...... full of sadness at leaving the house we loved and the life we knew

..... but full of excitement at what life had in store for us in Scotland

a year ago today was also the last time i held my very special friend close to me
hugging her tight and not wanting to let go

....... walking away i did not realise that it would be the last time i saw her

........ looking back

she knew

i miss you Annie with all of my heart

today i can feel you hugging me close

and i am hugging you right back

I'm sure Annie has been holding your hand every step of the way...and how proud she would be of all you've accomplished, even through your dark days. Thinking of you. Hug, hug, hug, and a few slobbers from my woofers, too! Diana x

Hi Tracy,
Annie's with you every step of the way. She's the one that's going to make the builders reappear. And the whole build come together for you and Stephen.
My thoughts are with you sweetie.
And wow a year gone already, it's the best move you've every made. Just look at what you've achieved already. Think at what you're going to achieve.
100% with you and behind you both all the way.
Many hugs.

Hi Tracy

I think...YOU'RE AMAZING.
WELL DONE with the new house, it is FANTASTIC xx I LOVE it, I COVET it. xx THANK YOU for your kind thoughts on my blog too xx I WILL take you up on it and lend a hand anytime ( apart from essay deadlines!!)just so's I can lay my hands on a real eco house and hang out with you cool people.

As for Ann, I don't know what to say. It can and may get better with time. Some people are VERY special and it never gets actually better, just easier to live with. Seven years for me and I STILL feel a little lost or even a lot lost some days. Terribly, terribly sad for Mr afterburn of course so sending sunny twinkly vibes xx

Ps I got a new Pc-phew!
