you guys... xxx

thank you all so much for your kind words ... it truly means a lot to know that folk are reading my ramblings and living to tell the tale......
truly - i send my heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you for sticking with me x

now
on to today

i know, i know i promised a post filled with glorious pictures and exciting chatter but i once again have failed to take pictures of anything exciting... seriously... i have taken pictures as not a day goes by without me reaching for my camera, but all i have on my wee file is pictures that i am about to use for my Not On The High Street shop and my own website...

dull work stuff

i think the weather is to blame - when the sun is out the whippets spend the day around our feet demanding attention and generally looking cute - but on grey damp days they stay underneath their duvets with just an occasional snout peeking out.... sniffing for foodie treats!
so without their antics i forget to photograph anything except shop stock - yikes i am becoming a camera bore...

there is movement on the crafting front so i do hope to have news and pictures soon along with the two new websites going live... this must happen by the 1st of February as i have an item in a glossy magazine ..
i have faithfully promised the magazine that i will have a fully all singing-all dancing website - nothing like a free bit of advertising to kick one up the backside!
i am of course thrilled by the opportunity but it is for an item that i buy in rather than a handmade one, which of course would be the ultimate in excitement.. i am working on it :)

ohhh and before i forget - Tiffin...
now
i use the recipe from the lovely (and with sweet new baby) Lucy, over at the Attic....
Lucy suggests pecan and cranberries which is yummy, but i have since started to experiment with lots of new items - we *love* tiffin as it is so perfect when you pop in from the cold and need something sweet with your coffee before you venture back on to the roof!
as long as i have chocolate in the house i really just use whatever else is lurking about...
i will take a picture tomorrow and pop on the general recipe but be warned... it is very addictive and very bad for you, although i do stand by the fact that the fruit content must be one of my five a day.... surely.....

right - enough waffling for today
i must away for a lentil chilli will not make itself....

signing out and thanking you kindly for popping by once again

I know what you mean about trying to take pictures in this dull winter light. But the ones above are gorgeous. K x

So what was boring in that post? Nothing that I could see!!!!

Tiffin ... don't think I should look if you're posting the recipe tomorrow ... but there again I might just have to. The fruit content is definitely part of your 5-a-day!

Nothing like pressure to stir up some action. You'll be ready for 1st Feb, no problem!

No, as Domesticali knows, your 5 a day are red wine, tea, coffee, chocolate and cake. Nothing else is necessary for life (except for paracetamol, probably!)

Love the letters... are they on the shop now?

Hi, I've just been visiting your lovely blog and thought I'd say hello. Your photo's of the dear dogs (and cat) on the sidebar are divine! I love whippets and had one once called Gidget. She was so sweet. I loved the falling snow and the feel of your blog. Just beautiful. Hope you are having a happy day xo
