please, please stop snowing...

this is what we woke up to this morning....

and it has snowed on and off throughout the day and we are due more... lots more..

i truly cannot afford to be snowed in again - my heart will just not take any more complaints from customers who have not received orders..
if i could dig my way out i would..

so
to distract my eyes from the large windows full of snow i finished opening christmas gifts from my mama..
i know, i know - what on earth have i still got gifts for at the end of January!

anyhoo
amongst the many, many wonderful things was this little beauty...

a scrap of the most wonderful vintage fabric

*** squeal ***

my mama knows me well...

i sat and pondered how to turn it in to something i can appreciate everyday whilst using every last scrap and not cutting it up too much.... (answers on a postcard please)..
and whilst thinking i used it for what i believe would have been its original purpose.....

stylish head scarf?

jaunty bandana?

strangely whilst the fashion show was taking place miss mabel moo would just not look me in the eye.....

back tomorrow

we've had a bit of snow today but not as much as you have. Could you not make a pinny and maybe sew those lovely birds onto the front maybe or even a cushion..... oh dear what has hse done? Are you going to continue posting through Feb?

Fabulous fabric. Love it. Sorry to hear you have the snow again. There's some between here and Dairy House apparently, so I hope it's not still around when I set off in the morning.

I'mlikin the head scarf but the eyes say different, so I think the jaunty bandana gets my vote..I subject my dogs to bandana wearing much to their disgust and general rolling about to get rid haha rx big hug to poorly lamb
