Deep breath and say "it will all be fine" - seems to be my favourite saying at the moment, which apparently stands for Fed up, insecure, neurotic and emotional - who me??!!!!! Good Luck! Hugs Debs xx

I have just be reliably informed that "Fed up" is the polite version - I'll leave the other to your imagination, or the scale of the disaster!!!!! Dx

Well at least the furniture won't get in the way if you want to dance!!

Just buy lots of floor cushions and say you've got that hippy vibe!!

Wow but what a view honey.
I'd pay good money to have a Christmas somewhere that looks like that.
And Ghillie looks like the most inviting lol

You'll be fine and it will get sorted.
Christmas will be perfect, it's family that make it. Not freshly painted walls.
How big is your tree gong to be? You'll get a whooper in there lol
Love you all.

I love the dog looking in. Do not panic, just enjoy the fact that everyone is coming together. Your place is enchanting. No need for great expectations.

Our house is a complete shambles at the moment too, as we wait for the electrician to return and finish the re-wiring he started nearly two months ago. We cant move onto anything else until it is done, and I was hoping to have it all finished by Xmas...(sigh).
Best of luck with yours!

Don't say that! All you need is some dogs with tinsel on their collars, and all will look totally festive. And if you have any spaces for guests, I am sure I have a free day!

I know how you feel! It's been two months and our house is still a complete shambles: the electrician has not returned to finish the work he started late-September, and we cannot move onto the next stage until it is done. I had so hoped to have the house re-painted inside by Christmas, but I doubt this will happen now. Very disappointing! :( Luckily, we are not hosting Christmas this year otherwise I'd probably be in tears!
Best of luck in finishing yours; I'm sure it'll happen! :)
