Our house is a complete shambles at the moment too, as we wait for the electrician to return and finish the re-wiring he started nearly two months ago. We cant move onto anything else until it is done, and I was hoping to have it all finished by Xmas...(sigh). Best of luck with yours! ~S.
Don't say that! All you need is some dogs with tinsel on their collars, and all will look totally festive. And if you have any spaces for guests, I am sure I have a free day!
I know how you feel! It's been two months and our house is still a complete shambles: the electrician has not returned to finish the work he started late-September, and we cannot move onto the next stage until it is done. I had so hoped to have the house re-painted inside by Christmas, but I doubt this will happen now. Very disappointing! :( Luckily, we are not hosting Christmas this year otherwise I'd probably be in tears! Best of luck in finishing yours; I'm sure it'll happen! :) ~S.
