candlelight

at the end of a long day working outside on the house there is nothing nicer than coming inside and lighting a whole bunch of candles....

it marks the end of yet another day .....

days which seem very, very short....
so much to do ....
must start getting up as soon as there is enough daylight to work.....

back soon

I know exactly what you mean, no sooner than I have fed cats, dogs, chickens and pigs, cleaned out, the chickens and pigs, walked the dogs and had a manic sort out of the house it's time to do the animals again and get them ready for bed.

The only consolation is the nice long cosy evenings by the fire, with scented candles flickering on the windowsill and mantlepiece, finally catching up with paperwork and reading.

You poor thing. I know you probably have just a handful of good daylight hours that far north. Keep your chin up!
I can't wait to see my squirrel!

Seahouse looks so peaceful and beautiful in the cande light.
It gives everything a warm glow that says HOME.
Thinking of you lovely lady.
I have fabulous news, we've set a date the 28th May 2010 at 12 noon, I'll become Mrs Short instead of Miss.
So I'll be calling on you for some birdy bits and pieces very soon. And if you can make it to our garden reception, it would make my day.
Lots of love,
