a shiny new week

hurrah
another week ahead of us all
now what to do?

today i have accepted the task of undercoating an endless amount of spindles..... it does not fill my heart with joy

so
i keep escaping the drudgery by taking the hounds out for a play in the garden - large rubber duck currently the favourite plaything
this clearly does not look good in front of the real ducks..... seven hungry dogs in hot pursuit of a large yellow quackers......

thankfully i have the promise of a large slab - and i mean slab - of tiffin to look forward to later which will keep the old paintbrush moving...

sorry for the lack of pictures and for the lack of quality of the ones that are here - my super dooper camera is waiting for a replacement charger and i am quite frankly lost without it - i feel that i have missed so much - the huge growth spurt that Cricket seems to have had - now standing taller than his own papa - eekk....
the last few downy fluffy feathers on the ducklings - all now large looking adults with the most amazing markings......
but thankfully i have also missed the mess that plastering creates, seven dogs charging around on wet days and the flood that entered through a door that had not been closed one night....

for those waiting for a Sea House update - it will be later this week once i have hidden away some of the debris....
i am considering applying for Kirstie's Homemade Home to arrive and work miracles
if anyone can Kirstie can
surely?

Can't leave a comment on your previous post. Sorry to hear about the rough time :-((

I hope you received a parcel, which may or may not have been uplifting, given your feelings at the mo.

Difficult to offer advice , except it will become a less intense pain, in time, but always a little bit there, but hopefully more comfortable XX

I wanted to comment yesterday, too, but couldn't. What ever happened to Annie's husband? I really missed his sorrowful blog when he quit it.

Oh yes Kirstie can truly work mircles, i think she has a magic wand hidden somewhere lol
I loved watching that program as much as i love to watch Nigella cook. Fabulous women and really ones too, none of these stick like things you see floating in and out of rooms or pretending to eat the food in front of them lol hands on and curves women. Hope the painting doesn't get to boring honey. I have a few hundred dots need doing if you fancy popping over for a change hehe! wink, wink.
Thanks for the lovely comment about Molly's first day I read it to her and she's blown you and everyone a big kiss X
Hugs for now my dear friend and enjoy those happy memories they'll keep the sad at bay.
Lots of love,
Catherine x

I agree with Katie - time does dull the acuteness of the pain, and it all becomes easier to bear - but it is difficult to live through grief, especially anniversaries, and it is something that takes its own time.

Hope you are feeling better today.
