hey, hey good looking......

make yourself comfortable.....

here comes a huge Cricket update :)

i will not waffle on as i know all you want is pictures of his royal cuteness... so lets begin....

**************

he loves and adores his auntie mabel and great auntie bean x

and they love him....

he has the best time playing with his daddy and mabel.....

and they are both so sweet and gentle with him whilst still managing to teach him all the tricks!

after a rough and tumble he spends time cuddled up with whoever has a little spare room in their bed....
he has become quite a bed hopper.....
he is not fussy ;)

he is also quite a fan of crochet...
good boy!

the first sign of sunshine and he is at the back door....

nothing better than being a whippet puppers running through the long grass....

watching whilst i garden...
no doubt planning his attack on the chives or onions (both are slightly shorter than they once were...)

but who could be cross with a puppers as cute as him?

you can see the whippetness starting to show....
the long legs and long pointy nose.....
i love this age

and finally, for today, a few shots of Cricket in the evening sun....

he melts my heart....

he is not camera shy!

and sometimes, just occasionally, poor auntie mabel finds puppy sitting a little too much :)

more soon

Thanks for knowing that a picture is worth a thousand words. What lovely creatures these dear whippets are! They seem so sweet and gentle with one another. I'd love an invite to the sea. How do I sign up? Thanks for sharing.

I have you on my Google Reader, but if you are making it private, I might not be able to view it... I would love an invite if you don't mind...

Oh please, let me be one of those special people who get to come and visit the sea house blog.

I'm so enjoyed visiting with you here as well, but my husband is afraid to let me look at Cricket because he says 4 dogs are enough here, especially when two are English Mastiffs!

All the best,
Jan and friends

Hi Tracy. Invite please (and now the paranoia begins! What if I don't receive one?!!!). Cricket is just gorgeous, but then all your dogs are. No pics of Tallulah? Hope she's ok too x

Oooh I LOVE him! He's just soooh gorgeuos, I even got Other Half to take a look because he is so cute. I think the way he snuggles in with anyone is so funny, oh and the chives, thing, now our pup Badger keeps biting the heads off of ours, and laying in the middle of a soft sage bush, very odd.

Little ones kind of break into your heart and take you hostage. I have two gangly kittens that I am the victim of, so I know the feeling!

Hi there! I am really new to this blogging malarky but really enjoy reading your blogs. I would really love to be able to continue to read about your progress with your house, but understand if you do not wish to invite me! I live in Scotland and you are living my dream! Only my fave place is on the West coast!!

Gosh, he is growing! My husband kept asking me when is his nose going to start growing and his legs. Now I can show him! I keep your boy as my backdrop. All six of the kids have enjoyed watching him grow. No puupies here any time soon so we have to enjoy vicariously thru you. Plus our four would be sooo jealous!
My garden seems to be sufferinf from cairn terrieritis. They are only peeing on things I bring in for cooking! Chives, Mint and Dill are not happy right now.
I would like an invite! Please! I'm not a crazed person and with six kids in this house I'm not getting overseas any time soon :( so I won't happen by in a vehicle!

Please invite me! I love reading your Cricket updates and everything else. Thanks :)

Wow... he is getting so big!
I'd love an invite to your blog.... I love following your craftiness and stalking your fabulous dogs. My husband won't let me have whippets at the moment so I am making do with yours for the moment.

I would love an invite to continue viewing your Sea House blog. I live in Alabama in the U.S. and under no circumstances will I be lurking around your home peeking in. Just through the blogophere with your permission.

I tried so hard to get Cricket in my Rucksack, I had a littel space in one of the pockets, but I couldn't get his whippety-long- stockings in so I was forced to go home alone :-((

I really look forward to the Sunday portraits and you regular updates. I do not go over to Sea House as often but would be very sad if I did not see it's progress. Please send me an invite. I would be very honoured.

I would hate to miss out on your lovely puppy growing into the handsome dog he is promising to be.

I know JUST how you feel about the house. We get all sorts stopping and gawping - and when they see us, it actually seems to make them gawp more rather than move on! Have they no shame?! So I do understand - I think Frank is with your chap on the inside of the house, and it has begun to bother me, too. But if you are happy with the faithful few being in on it, I would love to continue to look in at Sea House as well. Love that little Cricket! Happy dog....
much love

I've followed with great interest both your blogs and would love to keep up with your progress at Sea House. You have such an interesting life there and I love seeing all the cute pics of your animals, especially Cricket! I would love to live near the water, but for now I'm landlocked here in Wisconsin in the USA. What a wonderful view from your house!
