peeping out......

15th April 2009.......
this morning you opened your eyes for the very first time....

just ever so slightly......

and for only a few seconds....

your very first peep at the world....

your mama.....

your family....

in just fourteen days you have changed so much....

your ears seem to grow a little each day - they currently seem too big for your head!

for the last five mornings your mama has crept in to our bed at 6am, you are then carefully lifted in to join us....

at first you stayed close to your mama, but this morning you realised that my warm still sleepy body made a great climbing frame....

you have found your legs....

they are getting stronger each day....

probably helped by your new found ability to climb....

you like to be perched up high, as soon as you reach the summit of my tummy you tuck your strong little legs under your warm belly and take a nap x

i am treasuring each moment that i can with you for i know that very soon you will be fast on your feet and far too busy to snuggly....

sweet, sweet boy - we all love you

t x

soon i will talk about something other than cricket.... soon :)

Awww - he is so cute. I want a puppy to cuddle with and love. Enjoy every minute you have with him, and take lots of pictures so we can see him grow too.

Oh please don't stop talking about him, he's just the best time waster and we all love watching him grow here in blogland and our Cupcake house.
The girls are very keen to get him and his family some treats, but keep telling them that he's a little small for bicsuits, so if you can think of something else they can get please let me know sweet lady.
Many hugs,
And a little tummy tickle for Cricket.
Love,

Thanks for popping over to visit my blog Tracy, I do so look forward to the latest photos of little Cricket. Enjoy every minute with him snuggled up in bed with you - as you say, it won't be long before he's running riot! So sweet that his mama wants to share him with you!

Is he really going to be a whippet?

He looks like a bear cub. Are you sure?

twinkles.... xx
a bear cub would be fun but i do believe that we are looking at yet another naughty whippet ;)
he will suddenly develop a long whippity snout and his legs will grow like weeds - you watch...
and if not then he is coming to live with you :)
hugs my friend

Oh my goodness! I've never seen a whippet pup and I'm completely in love! Badgers are always naughty dogs, our Badger is an utter rascal, last week he chewed a hole in the very middle of the living room carpet - not in a corner but right bang in the middle.

You dogs are all so beautiful, so sleek and graceful although I know that that are probably just as mad as my bunch!
