better late than never?

o.k - not quite back to normal just yet..... the last few days have been a whirlwind of packing parcels, ordering stock, completing a wholesale order and choosing bathroom's.

busy, busy, busy but all good :)

thank you so much (yet again) for all your words of support and wisdom - it means so much and so many comments made me laugh :)
it was also so lovely to see messages from new bloggers - i will get round to visiting you soon - a cup of tea and a slice of cake and a visit to new friends - what could be nicer?
this blogging community is a wonderful thing x

the house is speeding along and i will update the poor neglected Sea House blog soon - the front door goes on today which will be fantastic as we have been battling to get in and out of the house through a sheet of plywood that gets ripped from your hands by the fierce Caithness wind.

the animals both inside and out are all good - Ghillie has decided that he simply cannot and will not live in the trailer - a few weeks ago he ripped great big holes in the hideous seating area overnight.
i think it was to show us that a dog of his size could not sleep on such a narrow chair - we tried a bed on the floor the following night and he ripped the duvet to shreds.....
the next night we left him on the day bed in the house - we both rushed out early the next morning so worried that he would have been lonely, only to see his huge yawning face as he stretched out from one end of the bed to the other!

he truly is an outside dog - he spends all day chatting to the workmen, stealing their empty drinks bottles so that he can take them in to the garden for a game of chase......
he is one gorgeous hound x
the only time i see him in the day is when he appears at the trailer window looking for a biscuit or a carrot which gets posted through the window and grabbed - he then scampers off with his prize.....

so other than the animals, sewing, selling lovely things, life is trundling on.....
in a good way
hurrah for that x

Life would be a little easier sometimes if we could talk to animals and find out just hat they really are thinking or trying to tell us. Bless him!!

What a gorgeous dog, and he looks really cheeky. I'm glad things are going well.

My word, that young Ghillie McDog has grown somewhat! Is there something special in the carrots you are feeding him?

Lovely Ghillie...you really will have to get a friend of the same size for him....he's so well behaved it would be no extra trouble....and you have lots of room....you know you want to ;-)

Ghillie just reminds me of my three boys growing up, sweet face, funny hair and limbs all over the place. He just makes my heart melt. Does he still play with Mabel?

Ghillie is a truly gorgeous chap and what a bed, just fit for a king.
I'd love 2 of those for the girls when we move and fill it with pink and foral cushions in the day and piles of eiderdowns at night.
Fabulous news about the front door, things are coming together and you're all be in very soon.
What sort of bathroom have you gone for? cor! I'm nosy lol
Looking forward to seeing more Christmas stock honey.
And I'm working my way through you're order. It's our moving day next week, so we're up to our eyes in boxes. A little like you lol
Many warm hugs.
Lots of love sweet friend.

He clearly has too much taste to be sat in a yukky trailer ;)
Glad to see things are finally coming together and back on track!
