one lump or two?

i just cannot resist a tea set.

Stephen looked on with dismay as a box of new stock arrived at the shop this week - we are meant to be packing he said......

i need new stock i said........

nothing was agreed upon - he just sighed and walked away.......

dare i tell him about the new kitchen stock that is on its way........

but just how could i not have this tea set????????

it is made from tin and is the most beautiful colours AND it all packs away in a pink suitcase xxx

he should just be thankful i did not wrap one up for Talullas birthday just so i could keep a set!

also new this week .......

a new soap design from my talented soap making friend.
i am thinking of selling it with a 100% unbleached cotton dishcloth - all in a white box tied up with string.
the boxes are also made by a friend of the soap maker - so lots of craft ladies benefiting rather than a large company x

and if you are having a glum day take a look at these guys

i am still not sure if these little monkeys will delight or scare small children!!

apart from the new items in the shop and the birthday celebration, the rest of this week has been spent packing the house even more.
the amount of dust under EVERYTHING makes me realise that i am no Anthea in the making - even the cats now roll on the floor and end up walking around with an extra layer........

i often worry that Stephen will think of leaving me for a domestic goddess - someone who cooks and cleans.......
but then he wisely looks up and says it is the reason for the move to this eco house - it has a fantastic ventilation system and swanky hoover which will never allow the house to be dusty.....

quite frankly it scares me.

before i go, just a reminder to all......
enter the giveaway on the previous post to win a bundle of goodies from Talulla x

including one of these.

Like the sound of the ventilation system and swanky hoover. Our flat is the dustiest place I have ever lived and I fight a loosing battle with the dusting and hoovering. Love that new tea set too. I think Talulla should definitely have one as a belated Birthday pressie.

Im looking forward to all the new lovely things on the website.
I bet Stephen still thinks your a goddess (even if it's not a domestic one)
Anyway some dust is healthy, you should see under my sofa ;)

Dust is good as it shows you have a busy life and don't spend your days cleaning!

Sweet teaset! Knitted dishcloths, too. I always used to knit or crochet them for us and for anyone else who needed them, but I haven't made any for several years now. But ... I do have a pack of dishcloth cotton sitting waiting. It was a carboot bargain a couple of months ago. Now, where did I put those needles and crochet hooks ...
