Let the New Year Begin

Even though today i feel full of cold it has been lovely to spend the last day off before i re-open my shop at home pottering x
Changing the dresser display in the kitchen (piccies to follow!) , looking through new books - always a joy, and just enjoying the feeling of a fresh new year ahead.
And what could be nicer than a crisp new notebook to fill with ideas - i cannot wait to dust off the sewing machine and begin.....

I know the feeling. I've just bought a new note book too that I've already started filling. Not quite as pretty as yours but I plan on covering it with something lovely. The books look great. I've been wanting the vintage treasures book for a while but I haven't seen the other one before. It looks really good. I love cabbages and roses things.
Hope your cold feels better soon.

I love cabbages and roses too and have not seen this book of theirs. I went in their shop back in November. Their fabric in the flesh is gorgeous. I wanted to buy so many things.

I hope I can find the energy after Christmas to get back to the sewing machine and start creating. Look forward to seeing all your lovely creations too.
Best wishes Ginny
