Love the new header photo - those Russian doll keyrings are brilliant.

They look as if they're having a quacking good time ... sorry, not sure where that came from!

Crikey, I bet they made a mighty flapping noise to get up there! x

Lol how funny I wonder why they sat up there. And they are both males maybe it was a stand off "get off my roof quack" "no you get off My! roof quack quack" lol
I have sent this post to my Mum she just loves ducks and it will make her laugh.
Have a fabulous week lovely lady x

Oh Tracy, don't you just love living in the country! Last year my other half saw the swans from the loch going walkabout up the main street. Always so odd when you see these creatures out of context.

Love the new header, (what no Mabel?)those key rings are gorgeous.

Yes, the keyrings are gorgeous- but I came to visit sometimes just to have a wee hello to Mabel, possibly the cutest little thing in blogland. No, not possibly, definately. Lucky my screen isn't covered in kiss marks. Please may I have my own picture of Mabel? She makes me smile (even on a bad day). XXX

Hi loverly Daughter.<*You are not going to belive this, but last weekend i was in the back bedroom when i could hear quacking,we have neighbours who are bird mad,so I thought i would be nosey and have a look...there it was in the middle of our patio making so much noise, every cat in the district knew it was there.!We caught it and let it go at a loverly lake down the road. And i'm sure it thanked us as it swam happily away!!
Martin wanted to keep it but i only collect pretend ducks!!
Love the Pupper pics.xx

Aww, I love mallards :) I also love the little felt russian dolls at the top of your blog.

R.e. two posts below it definitely depends on where you live as to how easy it is to be green. You can buy environmentally friendly washing up liquid, cleaning products and toiletries everywhere in Bristol but I haven't seen anything in Newcastle. I really wish the UK was more like Germany too- in most supermarkets there are no plastic bags at all and you have to pay deposits on plastic bottles which are returned when you take them to be recycled. It helps that there is a huge network of cycle paths too, making cycling easier and quicker than driving. At the moment it is a huge effort to be completely green but it's so inspiring to hear you talking about it with such passion- I think your idea of a weekly green post is an excellent idea, I could do with some tips :)

Don't show our duck Tracy - they already enjoy finding new ways to escape the pen as it is! Very funny photo though. Enjoy your weekend xx
