rest day

all done
all orders for Christmas posted (thank you Catherine x)

time this afternoon for my girls
the last month has been a little hectic, our rented house is just not big enough for all of us and my business.
i cannot remember the last morning when i have not opened my eyes and thought - ack parcel packing!

this morning i practically sprang out of bed, sang in the shower and wrapped the last seven orders with glee
done and dusted.....

so this afternoon i turned my attention to my two beautiful girls x
they have both felt rather neglected lately - sick of hearing me wailing from the dining room about lack of time/brown paper/sanity

so we hopped over to their most favourite walk

it was covered in thick frost in some places

and the sunlight was beautiful

all that can be heard is the whippets running through the trees, frost crunching under paws

and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach opposite

pure bliss

a couple of hours later and home to a little bit of crafting and catching up with programmes on the radio four website

now it is starting to feel a little like Christmas x

Doesn't everywhere look wonderful with the frost. That looks to be a super walk for the girls - and you of course. (Love the wellies)

Have a super Christmas in your new environment and look forward to 2008 with glee!

I sooo know where you are coming from! I'm almost there, a couple of more deliveries to do and some sewing for pressies and then it's onto the real Christmas stuff, icing the cake, making mountains of mincepies, and just generally slowing down a bit, bliss!

Really hope you enjoy your first Christmas up north, it'll be magical. We're heading up your way in Feb as we've got a wedding on Orkney on a beach......! Would be lovely to meet you and have a good blether over a cuppa! Oh and meet all your animals!

Off to decorate the Christmas tree!

I'm so glad it got to you and you're now all finshed and can rest and enjoy Christmas. It just give you a warm feeling knowing that it's all done and dusted and that you did it.
I felt the same way when I put the last carrot nose on the very last snowman peg and wrapped him up with his 5 other little friends lol
Now it's time for Christmas I thought.
Have a magical time.
Lots of love and hugs. x

It looks so beautiful where you are - it's really warm here! no frost at all. I am very jealous of your frost.

Have you bought pressies for all your animals - are they excited??
