this little blog of mine will be a little dull for the next few days.......
i am busy catching up with order packing
making orders
searching for gifts for family and friends as i have no time to make anything
stepping over the enormous dustballs that are rolling about the house
sorting out paperwork and vaccines for the sheep
vaccinating the sheep (if i can catch the blighters)
making hideous suppers from the remains of the fridge and cupboards as i have had no time to shop
coming up with fancy names for hideous supper to try and impress Stephen
catching up with the washing as i have had to wear pajama bottoms today as a last resort
ignoring the strange looks from the people in the post office regarding the p.j bottoms
ack
see you all soon

Oh Sweetheart.....I can remember a time in the eighties when it was trendy to wear PJ bottoms ......I'm sure they just thought you were eccentric !!!!!!!
You'll catch up...it will still be there waiting for you....and as you so rightly say animals (and kids) come first.....
Way back when in a past life I used to call supper concoctions'pot mess'.
Don't you just hate it when you need to use immagination at meal times !!!
Behold the humble jacket spud !!!!!

Do those people in the Post Office not realise that pyjama bottoms are de rigeur for the up and coming crafter/crofter?
Take care of yourself :-) x
I totally know how you're feeling except I don't have the sheep to deal with. The one thing I'm finding good about living alone is the fact I can eat all sorts of weird and wonderful things without having to make up names to encourage someone to eat the leftover creations! Hope you get everything done. See you soon.
I'm sure they where only looking at you thinking I wonder where she got those? lol
I love days where all you wear is your PJ's, I think they should make it one of those national wear pj's days lol I'd join in.
Good luck with the sheep and thanks sweetie for the lovely kind words you've left me. Made me feel a whole lot better.
Hugs.

Why do people feel the need to make comment when a lovely lady makes the perfectly rational decision to have a PJ day?!?! You go girl!
I've been in pjs for the past 2 days.
There are lots of the yummy mummies at the school gate don't get out of their cars as they are only properly dressed on the top.
My Dad used to turn up at nightclubs in his pjs to pick me up - if I wasn't out waiting for him he would GET OUT OF THE CAR and COME AND FIND ME. I was very punctual!

I have known to visit the odd car boot fair in pjs with bits and pieces on top! Good luck with it all Tracy

pjs never without them during these cold french winters I have a thermal pair that I wear under my other(several) layers. Who said renovating is fun, how quickly the summer went my memory had faded as to how cold it is here, but I am assured that as soon as the plasterer has finished I can have the heaters on hurry up is all I can say, as for living in total chaos with not even a moment to gather yourself, don't feel bad this is the norm trust me.
take care
ps sorry its been a while
love jules xx
Sorry Love, you've just been tagged!
Hope all the orders are going well, if you have time I Captain Rupert has asked me to tag tualla and Bean. Don't worry if you don't I know how things can be busy.
Think we are all running round in ever-decreasing circles at the moment, I'm trying to get the garden done, help DIL out as she's not very well, do |Christmas-y stuff, bake for WI cake stall etc etc Even so I haven't got as much on my plate as you have - at least I don't have to chase sheep:) Hope Bean and Tallulah are OK.
Jammies good.
Making people stare also good. (you will just rate a raised eyebrow really as your dress can be tagged to being 'incomer' and therefore odd by definition).
Chasing sheep funny. (No, really. In a few months when hard work all done and mud finally off and toes warm again you can reagle friends with escapades of sheep tag in the field).
Odd food concoctions called 'Dinner' in my house. Makes choice limited and they know nothing else is on offer.
:-) Hope your weekend is wonderfully, waggily, walkie!
Those dust bunnies get everywhere! I've just dealt with mine...
Good luck with completing your list of jobs and do look after yourself.

My my, but this does sound like me at my house this past week! I've given my dust bunnies names and let them be for now. =)
