road trip #2

yay

if you laughed at the misery of my last road trip then you are in for a treat.

we are setting off tomorrow to do it all again.

i wish it was not to say goodbye to my annie - but i keep thinking of seeing her darling husband and those two scrummy dogs
and hugging them all till they squeak xxx

i am hoping that the trip will not be quite as shocking and ghastly as the last one as we are leaving behind part of the troop
including
poop-a-lot archie
and
foam-and-vomit-a-huge-amount bella

we are however making the trip with two mad whippets..............

i will of course photograph any moments of major misery and bore you all with it on my return.

wish us luck as we head 700 + miles down country

see you all on our return.

I haven't been around the last few days so have only just learnt of your friend's death, I'm so sorry about it. I'm old enough to have lost a couple of my own friends and it's a very hard thing. I wish you well on this sad journey.

What a bitter-sweet journey,I was sad to read what happened to your friend,we choose our friends and that makes them extra special.
I am sure you will have many happy memories of your friend and once the grief begins to lift those thoughts will make you smile again.
I am sure you will 'feel' her around you at different times.
Best wishes for your journey and strength for the service,
Kat xx

Sorry to hear, it's not much fun saying goodbye to a friend, but you do need to go, don't you? When you get back, sit in your comfiest chair with a cup of tea an dimagine a big, warm hug from all of us here in blogland, won't you?
