bad wednesday.........

yesterday was a bad day.........

i woke feeling fine, but by 11.30am i was a wreck.

anything that i said, stephen said, people on the radio said made me cry.

now i am a cancerian - homemaker, moody, emotional.............

so moving house was never going to be a good thing for me.

unfortunately my madness rubs off on every one else..........

this is what bella boo thought of the situation.......

bean spent most of the day hiding in her eiderdown

talulla thought that if she shut her eyes really tight, that when she opened them again bad mummy would have left the building!!!

archie picked out his travelling case.......

twigs pigs was less than impressed that the wonderful wool blankets were about to be packed.

and bracken laid down in front of the aga in order to remind me that i must fix the hole that talulla made when she was a pup......

just another job to add to the list.

if the animals thought yesterday was bad then today is going to be a nightmare.......
the rubbish man is coming to collect the dog sofa and chair

it will be a black day in our house today
but on the up side - i feel o.k.

see you soon

Oh dear, poor you. Poor pets! I've moved a lot in recent years but only from rented place to rented place and that has always been bad enough. I know that if I was making the kind of move you're making I would be feeling just the same as you. I know it sounds easy for me to say but keep focussing on the good stuff and the wonderful new life and home you're going to make for yourselves in Scotland. This difficult week will soon be over and I'm sure once you're on the road the excitement will kick in and tears will go away. Give the animals lots of cuddles which will hopefully make both you and them feel better. x

Not much longer to go.

At least you have your fur babies to keep you company.

Lovely pics again. Hope you are having a good day today. I know exactly how you feel. I too am surrounded by boxes and bags, packing tape, cups of half-finished tea. It will all be well I know. It's closing the door on a chapter of your life that is hard, even although it's to start a new adventure.
My favourite coping strategy when it gets too crazy is to walk round to the baker's and everything is OK again!

Oh dear your pets must be feeling very, very unsettled at the moment - just like you in fact. You shold all have a jolly good cuddle!

Aah it is so close now! I can't believe it, it only seems like yesterday that you announced the move. And so many pets to move...

Is the rubbish man coming to collect the dog sofa, and the chair,

or the dog, the sofa and the chair??

I hope that it is not the latter!

Hi Tracy,

Good luck with the move...from reading the previous couple of posts, it looks like the big day is tomorrow.

All of this trauma will soon be behind you and you will have the excitement of your new home to look forward to.

Just wanted to pop by since I know it's today/ tomorrow/ oh God I wish it were next year (delete as applicable) and to say that I hope everything goes well, that the only things that break are replaceable & that you will soon settle down.....

Moving is hard & messing & extremely agitating! It will be better soon.

Love your pets! Isn't it amazing how they sense your mood.
