tip top....

firstly...
thank you for your concern dear readers regarding my slight blip yesterday... i do honestly blame it all on facebook... you see, the problem is most of my family use it and it is indeed a fantastic way to chat most days... but when they are talking about trips out and family days it makes me feel crappity crap :(
completely stupid to feel this way as it was my choice to move so far away.. apart from one auntie in new zealand all my family live very, very close...

but fear not i have picked myself off the floor of despair and loneliness....

secondly... thank you for all the emails about the postcards.. they are available in my little shop - link in my sidebar :)

sadly no pictures of pretty stock, new handmade delights or indeed cake...
although a cake has been made - my mama's foolproof no fat-no sugar store cupboard loaf.. yum, yum, yummy....

instead i have spent most of the day enjoying the bright sunshine, warm sea breezes and the company of these guys...

dillon and woody enjoying the warmth of the afternoon....

miss mabel moo and bean relaxing......

my dear, dear oldie bracken warming her bones in the sunshine......

and lastly....
quite honestly the coolest ram ever...

rodders enjoying the end of a baguette... his favorite treat....

look at that beard full of hay...
what a face :)

i know i should not have a favourite sheep but i just cannot help myself... he is my best boy :)

tomorrow i shall be pulling a name out of the hat for the ta da giveaway... still time to enter - just scroll to Monday's post and add your name..

Glad your 'up' has returned. There is nothing quite as disheartening as realising the tyranny of distance.

Oh, he is a handsome boy? I wonder, is he nice or does he ram? The dream of sheep is not dead here (even though fencing will cost more than a bundle and we need a new roof), Tom is going to some wonderful farm full of new lambs next Sunday ... I wonder what will happen - eek?!

Your picture of the ponies made me feel like I was right there with them.

Love, Katy Noelle

We have a tortie too, she's only 18 months old, but she's gorgeous. I just love their coats and the colour changes.

You know i think Rodders is smiling in that photo, he's such a poser lol and being so gorgeous who can blame him hehe
And bless Bracken she's so lovely and very pretty. Our little monsters have been sunning theirselves on the bed, oh the life of a cat. I think I'll come back as one again, i must of been one before lol as i don't like rain or lots of water and loads of boxes left anywhere stresses me out lol crazy cat woman, i am hehe!
It's so hard being far away from loved ones, i feel very odd about my own mamma at the moment who choose to move away from me. It's sometimes like I've lost her already. Do you know what i mean? God now i've gone to deep for this time of night. Must chat soon lovely lady. Cos i know you're say the right things. You're friendships means more than you too x
With love,

I know how you feel, I left all my family (except my small people) down in Wales 8 years ago and sometimes it feels like we've been forgotten. Especially this weekend, apparently my s.i.l has organised a surprise birthday party for my nephew (his 21st) and we didn't even get an invite. Even if we couldn't have gotten down it would still have been nice to be included :( (((hugs)))

Awww have a hug. I always miss Kent at this time of year as it's unbeleivably beautiful there in the springtime. Yesterday the lapwings and oystercatchers decided to stay here on the farm and I'm all happy here again - whenever I feel down I just think of all the millions of people who come here to stay in holiday cottages and wish they could live here and here I am in my very own home cottage and I'm very lucky to live here.
