so.... it seems to be snowing again....

just when we were thinking hurrah the snow is going, we have been issued with a three day severe weather warning.... and the weather men (and ladies) are not wrong....

it has snowed pretty much all day -

big
fat
flakes

the only dog to venture out has been my intrepid explorer Cricket.... but then he only went as he has an unhealthy addiction to sheep food.... and in case anyone is concerned we do not force him to walk only on his back legs but we do laugh a great deal when he does... and he seems to do it rather a lot - odd boy.......

... and speaking of odd boys....

the chaps have been charging around in the blizzard like crazy fools again - it must be a Shetland thing as whilst out and about yesterday i saw so many horses in large rugs, stationary with miserable faces... our boys are clearly snow loopy...

the only good thing about all this snow is that it tends to keep me inside... i send poor old Stephen out - my argument being that he has the warmest, fluffiest, largest hat... not a great argument but one that i am sticking too.....
and i also need to stay in to guard whats left of the tiffin ........*ahem*

this means that i have had time to clean shelves and redress them - a job i *love* doing ......

the best part for me when owning my shop was dressing the window - my shop was right on a corner and many a car mounted the pavement as folk were busy looking in instead of keeping their eyes on the road!

i have also framed my most favourite purchase of last year...

isn't she beautiful *sigh*

well thats another days blogging done - i am actually enjoying posting everyday - why not join in?

i shall see you all tomorrow unless the weather cuts us off...
in which case can someone just pop round and dig us out?

My horses are in two rugs each, eating their heads off in the stable, longing to go out and play. When it comes to winter weather British native ponies win hands down!

How I laughed at your post tonight about Cricket walking on two legs LOL The photo looked like a man and his child walking along in the snow LOL. I have been reading your blog for a long time now but this is the first time I have commented. Could I have an invitation to your your other blog please? I love the photos of your house on this blog and would love to see more of it. Thank you.
