the little guy did not make it...

very soon after i posted yesterday our sweet little lamb lost his fight...
we were very fortunate that we were both with him when he died - i could not imagine him being out there in the dark on his own...
we had an Autopsy performed on him today and are now a little wiser to what we are facing with the second lamb that is showing early signs... we are talking to both our vets here and our Homeopathic vet down South to try and save him...

i am conscious that this blog is becoming a little sombre and that is something i do not want - my days are filled with the downside of sheep keeping but when i sit and blog i want it to be about nice things...

so

i shall say little more regarding the current worries, but of course will let you know the outcome of lamb # two....

hopefully tomorrow i will be able to fill the screen with slightly happier things!

until then

Where animals are concerned its hard, they can't look after themselves, its down to us. I hope you get useful information so you can help the other one. All the best, good luck.

How sad, I too am hoping the other lamb will be okay. Don't feel guilty about posting about sad things on your blog. It is an ideal outlet for you to share your sadness and also, it seems that all the people that read your blog are also animal lovers too. Please continue to keep us updated on the other lamb.

Best wishes
Sharon

Awww, Tracy - so sorry about your sweet lamb. You certainly did all you could for him. He was a very lucky lamb to have you and your partner for "parents".

Oh no, so sad xx but I like to hear about all sorts on people's blogs. I truly think that the best ones are where people do share the strife amidst the bloggetty crafty stuff. There are some I read that are too pollyanna and I just don't believe a word of it in the end. The strife is valid too, very valid. Life is a struggle for every living thing x with lots of lovely bits too xx I'm wondering what the little man had wrong? and how it can be prevented maybe?

I was almost too scared to look, your last post had me in tears.

My advice would be to "Hug a Hound" a remedy we are considering patenting, works a treat.

Hope Lamb II is feeling better this morning.
