happy boy!

look what arrived today.......

a new "oldie" to join the others ........

here to make my boy happy after a few weeks of feeling pretty rotten.....

hurrah :)

this beauty has great body work but needs some welding and carpets - nothing too drastic which means we will be feeling the sea breeze in our hair soon.....

that's if i am allowed anywhere near it - i am under very strict rules that the new arrival
is
not
mine

and there is absolutely no room for any dogs!

That's not a 'mid-life-crisis-kind-of-red-car' is it?

:-)

You do realise that you are now going to have to buy a silk vintage scarf and huge sunglasses for your stylin' new car. You are going to look like a real firecracker in that thing! How fun...

(yes...email would be very nice indeed...hugs) x

That truely is a thing of beauty, my Daddy used to have a MGb and we went off to the south of France in it. The people over there acted like they'd never seen a car before lol and we felt like film stars everywhere we went. With people stoping and waving or just staring with their mouths open hehe!
Oh happy memories with my Daddy, some i just treasure.
I hope you get as many lovely times in your vintage old car.
Lots of love you wonderful couple,
Catherine, Ben and the cupakes xxxx

Oooh! I'm so envious! A classic red MG was once my dream car! Can't get them where I am now so I'm driving an earth-friendly prius instead.

And look at all the pretty rain, enjoy it for me, please?

I remember riding in one of those down the motorway when I was about 20 and being stopped by the police for going too fast (I wasn't driving, of course)! And then it ended its life in a pear orchard. Memories!

Thank you for stopping by my blog - I haven't tried the Crofter sock pattern yet - I prefer to do socks on dpns - but I am sure I might start it at some point - finishing is, of course, another question!

(scratches head) Or am I mistaken...

Love the car! Your man must be like mine - can't resist those old classics.

Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, but, you know, you may just have to take it for a spin every now and again - just so it doesn't feel left out when the boys are off running in the fields.
You'd only be thinking about the car, after all.
