for Molly and Daisy......

Cricket loves you!!!

he says thank you so much for his new fluffy ball.....

each day he rummages and digs around in the huge toy basket until he finds it.....
no other toy will do :)

he then rushes to his favourite chair and clambers up.....
this takes a short while as he still only has little legs and the chair is for grown ups....

once on the chair he throws his new ball around, gives it a jolly good sniff and a chew and generally has a lovely time...

however....

he always, always keeps his eyes open for anyone who may creep up to the chair to steal his best toy away.....

i can see you :)

and look what happens if you get too close!!!
he barks and barks ....
this is because he loves his ball very much and does not want to share.....

now
as you both know it is not a nice thing to do to keep all the best toys to yourself and not share with others....

so.....

as soon as cricket is doing this......

fast asleep with his legs in the air.....

the other dogs borrow his ball for a quick game of catch!

************

cricket and all his doggy friends shared their bag of biscuits and chocolate drops out equally between them so that there were no arguments.....

they even gave a chocolate drop to twigs pigs the cat as she likes them very, very much x

the cats ate all their biscuits up but miss bracken had the most as she is very old and a bit too skinny.... she thought that they were yummy :)

so

you two sweet, sweet girls are loved very, very much by talulla, bean, ghillie, miss mabel moo, badger, george, cricket, bracken, archie, bella boo and twigs pigs
they think that you are very special and send you lots and lots of gentle licks and hugs xxx

and as an extra big thank you miss mabel moo sends you her biggest smile.......

they hope that they can all meet you one day and they promise, promise, promise that they will be good and show you the sheep and ponies and all the best places to play hide and seek in the garden

xxx

Hello Tracy, I hope I'm not too late to join in the fun at Sea House. I would very much like an invite (bertiemeadows@gmail.com). Thank you for your wise words and understanding too.

Oh my goodness! that post has got me in tears.
I can't thank you enough sweet, sweet lady.
The cupcakes will be soooo happy to see and hear all about Cricket and the other puppers and cats. I'll read it to them first thing in the morning before playgroup, as the are tucked up fast asleep in bed now.
This very special post has made my day and touched my heart. And will indeed touch theirs. Thank you my lovely friend, we really can't wait to come and see you all.
Lots of love,
Catherine, ben and the cupcakes xxxx
