one week old

cricket.........

today you realised that you could still feed from your mama whilst laying on your back with all four paws in the air
we are not too sure if this is good for your digestion but you seemed to be very pleased with your latest achievement.....

you also crawled out of your safe cosy bed and made it all the way to the front of your secure cage....
now you are so mobile we will pop you in to your new living space with your mama...
it will allow you to find your feet without escaping too far and will give your devoted mama a little more freedom.....

you are the most beautiful puppers with the cutest wrinkly brow, roundest belly and sweetest nose.....

you are also a terrible time waster and my to do list is mostly forgotten....
but i do not care as i can see how much you have grown in just one week ....

you are gorgeous

I would be holding Cricket any time his mama needed a break.
And...you are so very welcome. Your dogs are beautiful.

Oh Tracy it does take me back to our puppies - only six months ago and yet Tinker now so huge it seems like a lifetime away.... Goodness what a 'dog grandma' I sound like! But isn't it the most amazing thing in the world? Baby creatures of all sorts.... Enjoy this magical time.

What a fabulous time waster to have honey, he's so sweet and s for Talulla, she's a wonderful Mama.
Happy first week at Seahouse Cricket, here's to many happy years of love, care, fun, good food, warm beds, big hugs and plenty of fresh air.

I still can't work out the colouring. Do puppies usually go a different colour to their parents? Also he doesn't look very whippety. He looks like a bear cub to me...I wonder what he will look like in four weeks...
