a lovely few days.... and a giveaway!

the last few days have been super - the weather has behaved, we have celebrated a birthday and the massive task of unwrapping all of my stored Vintage china began....
wanna peek?

firstly i really should carry on with some introductions....

meet George

yesterday was his first birthday
i baked special doggy cakes with doggy choc drops on top

and all dogs had a present
because i am hopeless at leaving anyone out...

they spent a huge part of the day outside just enjoying life
George says it feels good to be one.....

and he loves cake

now - how pretty is this boy?
seriously, seriously pretty...
i am considering entering some shows with him this year as not only has he got the looks and the walk, but he also has such lovely manners x

a sure winner?

now on to a confession....
i have too much china
i know - i can hear you all saying how there can never be enough Vintage china on a dresser, but i really have way too much
as Stephen pointed out to me as he carried in another laden apple box - when i had my shop i just hid all my china stash in cupboards, so never really noticed that i had a problem...
i know now....

the trouble is that even though there are another fifteen apple boxes and a large chest full of china still to come, i will not stop buying it
i cannot walk past a piece of pretty china and not bring it home
perhaps i should stay in more?

the last note today is the announcement of a giveaway... hurray :)
all you need to know (for you must "do" something in order to be entered) is over here...

Sea House

good luck

Oh, I was kind of hoping George would be the present in the giveaway. sigh. He's gorgeous. Gorgeous George! Happy Birthday cutie.
I think it's possible to have too much china - or maybe it's just possible to have not enough cupboards...
