the gentle art of time wasting......

if there was an exam for attempting to do anything other than decorating, moving stone or shifting pony poop, then i would pass with flying colours......

the last two days have seen me baking Vegan carrot cakes with cinnamon frosting.....

playing around photographing chicks which quite frankly scream Easter, Easter, Easter.......

and not a great deal else....

it has been such awful weather - the fields are flooded and anytime that i have spared to actual work has been spent feeding the sheep and ponies and trying to keep them on higher ground - it has become very clear over the last few days that all the land drainage we put in place over the Winter is not enough - further ditches and pipe work needs to be laid
i will just add that to the list
we have made lists and the serious work begins on Monday - showers have been ordered, the last of the glass is booked to go in and i have a sofa to find......
yep - still searching

in the meantime the day bed that used to be in my shop to display quilts and cushions has been put in to action....

Mcdog clearly approves of the new seating arrangement but it leaves very little room for anyone else....

what a pretty boy he is
he really should have been a girl
perhaps called Margot
gosh
Margot suits him..... perhaps i should try it out

mmm, vegan cake - my favourite. Well, not my favourite, but the kind of cake I can eat without having an allergic reaction, so I suppose it should be my favourite. Anyway - YUM, they look delicious!

margot is a very pretty girl. Oops, sorry McDog, but you are.

McDog looks soooo cute there - (and he knows it!) ... better not call him Margot, he may be scarred for life!

Mcdog is very handsome and regal looking. I haven't been able to get much done lately either so you are not alone

I love those chicks. I buy loads every year and then can't think what to do with them. But you're right, Easter they scream! Thanks for visiting my blog btw!
