this weekend we spent a very long time inside Sea House - saw, hammer, broom....
it now feels more like home - take a peek at the first tour of Sea House .... here
i also started a little gardening - something that i have been putting off as it just seems like such an enormous task
i have spent the last 14 years tending to a tiny cottage garden in Kent - the expanse of field we have now just seems way too much to ever feel like a garden
we shall see - i have lots of thoughts and designs of how i would like it to look......
the joy of gardening here, even if it was just a little grass cutting and filling a raised bed with manure (thanks to the gallant efforts of Woody and Dillon), is when you turn around and see this......
a full rainbow
from the start......
to the middle......
to the end....
truly breathtaking

sigh. You're right. Truly breathtaking (and that rainbow aint half bad either!)
How lucky to be living under a rainbow. A real sign of something good.
Rather lovely views there Missus. Plus! you have a pigeon, lucky thing.
what a truly fantastic rainbow! so how come when I was in Scotland the skies were grey?
Isn't it great when you get to see the whole rainbow. You'll obviously see loads there but those of us 'down south' only get to see the complete thing once in a while.
Beautiful rainbow and beautiful and exciting progress on your house-it is going to be just stunning!
Tracy, Sea House is FAB!!!! Oh I have huge envy now, but how lovely to imagine you and your lovely animals living in such a breathtaking place. And camping in it this weekend really does make it seem you are almost there xx
Beautiful, thanks sweetie for sharing that photo, it makes looking out at the dull grey sky here today so much better. You've put a big smile on my face thanks xxx
Good luck with the garden.
Many hugs,

They are amazing aren't they! Nothing to spoil your view. The garden will come, don't take on too much in one go, but it will get there!
what pure bliss to be at a sea house. the scenary I can just imagine...
Hello! What a lovely blog you have. Firstly, I LOVE the animals and I am rather envious of your menagerie! Our very small garden just couldn't house all those lovelies, so I have my two spoilt cats. Also, I loved reading about the Sea House - a dream come true (eventually!) - and I look forward to reading more about it. Your crafting is delightful too - Good Luck with your adventures and hold onto that rainbow image - a sign of promise for the future! Best wishes. Denise
That rainbow is truly *wow* x
I've never seen a rainbow from one side to the other--how amazing! K x
The SeaHouse is coming on a treat........Envy down here!
It must be really satisfying collecting your own manure, I reckon you will have a bumper crop of veg next year! Enjoy.

There's just something about rainbows... Good old Wordsworth summed it up in about the only poem I ever bothered learning, "My heart leaps up when I behold a rainbow in the sky..."
