Monday

Monday started like this........

so i cheered myself up by putting on a pretty necklace......

and after cutting yet more nails for the roof of the house, i turned my builder worn hands to a little sewing.....

Autumn Bunting

and after three slices of peanut butter on toast (what is it about a cold day that makes you so hungry?)

i completed some Christmas pud and Christmas tree hearts whilst humming Christmas tunes......

sewing the ribbon on to my Christmas Bunting which i am beyond pleased with.....

and wondering if i will actually be able to afford to make any to sell....
very time consuming item that i am not sure folk will pay enough for to make it worth my time....

mavelous miss mabel moo has refused to come out from under her copious amount of blankets......

...not even to admire twigs pigs looking beautiful against my most favourite Vintage red suitcase - the suitcase which contains an ever growing collection of prints that are waiting to be framed and hung in the new house.....

leaving you today with the handsome, charming Archie x

p.s I am in the flipping library (at least it's salomons so it's pretty) prepping for the onslaught. I don't know WHY I ever thought this was a good idea. I'd trade your day for mine ten times over.x

You've beaten me to it...I was planning on making some bunting using vintage blankets! Yours is gorgeous and I know it'll be way nicer than anything I can sew. Miss Mabel's looking extremely cute all bundled up.

Love the christmas bunting, the bird is beautiful, I can see why you are so pleased with it. The gingham hearts have a scandinavian flavour - were you humming your tunes in Danish?

Love the christmas bunting - DIY kits a great idea - sell the componants and the buyer puts together as they wish! Lovely necklace (I think I have the same top - Monsoon?)

The Christmas bunting looks absolutely gorgeous! Glad you chose to spend your rainy day making and sewing, much better than anything to do with roofs!

Miss Mabel makes me laugh. Given the weather, I don't blame her for staying under the blankets. Nothing like a rainy day to give you an excuse to stay indoors and sew!

Your Christmas bunting is so lovely! And the other decrations too. I am not sure what to do this Christmas as little Joey can be born at anytime around the Holidays.

Absolutely gorgeous bunting. If you make any to sell do please whisper the price, but if not and you go with the kit idea I'd also love to know!

Cutting roof nails? Are you going to enlighten us or is it something we should know about?!!
