Sewing Overload!!!!

That's it...... no more!!!!

The wonderful Samantha over at Plump Pudding is kindly taking some of my items to the CL Fair and i have sewed and sewed.....and now i am done!

In order to cope with the sewing overload i had to have a new button tin

lovely xx

And this suitcase needed a new home - and i have a real weakness for old cases.
They are so useful and make really attractive storage on top of wardrobes.
And over the years i have used them for cat beds, magazine holders, linen storage and so much more.
And yes..... i have stood on a train station with my old suitcase - ready for a weekend away x

They have a really romantic feel about them, and actually hold a lot of clothes.
I also love them as they keep more delicate items safe as they have such a hard outer.

And as the sewing machine is a no go area, i settled down to make some more cards for the fair - they will be on there way to Samantha this afternoon x
And will be on my website soon....

I love the Sea, and cannot wait to move and see it out of my window everyday for the rest of my life.
Stephen and i always felt that we would end up by the sea and hopefully over the next few months that dream will come true x
I will of course share all the AWFUL details of building an Eco house with you - including the joy of living in a mobile home ( yes a MOBILE HOME) for up to 5 months - with 4 cats, 2 dogs and a rabbit..........

Cosy

I will of course keep Cupcakes online and hope to get out and about at local fairs - and maybe, just maybe CL Scotland.

But above all else we want to grow our own Veg, surround ourselves with animals, and welcome our friends to stay xx

It's a shame that we will live so close to the sea and i suffer with sea-sickness!!!!

Sailing will not be one of my new hobbies!

See you all soon

Love all your cards they are fab! I'm sure they'll all sell at the CL fair, we sell my friends cards and they go like hot cakes!
Glad you like the pottery, really need to get it on the website but there just aren't enough hours in the day at the moment and I was to keep it for launching at the fair!
Will let you know as soon as it's on the website!
Have a good weekend.

I love the sailing boat cards and the way you have done the lettering. Living in Scotland sounds like an idyllic life and one I could get used to myself.
To be by the sea as well will be just lovely.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Shall we trade shops for a while? Ours is near the ocean, too! heehee Sounds like you live in a beautiful part of the world. Living in an eco house sounds challenging but rewarding!

Sounds like you deserve a break from sewing - but not for long!!! Hope you do well at the fair, I'm sure you will! Can't wait to hear all about your new home as it progresses!

I'm glad that Samantha has chosen to take your things to the CL Fair - she has chosen well - I always like your sewing and the cards you pictured are lovely and fresh and not at all the rather samey "stick ready made things onto card" type of cards that we tend to get up here. Good luck and happy packing.

I love that little suitcase. When I think of the cases like that, that I've passed up in my time. Grrrr!

I will be very interested to see the eco house building - after a year of house hunting we may be doing the very same thing. We were considering the mobile home idea but I thought my 4 cats and 2 kids would go crazy (or drive us crazy)
Good luck with your adventure.
